Coron, Palawan 2015: Coron Eco-Lodge

Coron Eco Lodge was our accommodation during the first part of our Coron trip, and we stayed here for 2 nights. We availed of both accommodation + tour package, so the lodge also took care of our Coron Town Tour and Island Hopping Tour.

The place is located in the middle of Coron town, about 30-45 minutes drive away from the Busuanga Airport. The location is convenient because it’s near restaurants, souvenir stores, even banks and ATMs. We liked that almost everything in the town is within walking distance–we only had to ride the tricycle going to the public market.

The interior of Coron Eco Lodge is simple but cozy. There’s a medium-sized restaurant adjacent to the lobby, where we took our complimentary breakfasts, and the food they serve is also good (except that there weren’t many options when we ate dinner there once because they were out of seafood).

The room we were in was spacious. We stayed in a twin bed room (I think all their rooms are twin sized), and it has all the basic amenities–AC, cable TV and phone, shower and bathtub, plus basic toiletries.

The service was more than we expected. They made our beds daily during our stay, and they even accommodated my request for a simple greeting note for C, who was also celebrating her birthday at the time. They even threw in a complimentary cupcake.

We paid a total amount of Php7,496.00 for a 3D2N stay for 2 pax inclusive of the following:

  • 3D2N accommodation in an airconditioned twin room
  • Round-trip airport transfer
  • Daily breakfast (2 days)
  • Coron Town Tour (tricycle with snacks, inclusive of all entrance fees)
  • Island Hopping Tour (shared boat with lunch and snacks, inclusive of all entrance fees; goggles and aqua shoes not included)
